RichDoc 해외환자유치
A medical-tourism marketplace with 6-language i18n, AI smart quotes (Claude vision), a 3-tier hybrid translation pipeline, and a transparent pricing board. (Two iterative builds.)
Work in progress — two iterative builds
Overview
When a patient abroad wants a procedure in Korea, the friction is rarely the medicine — it is language, trust, and price opacity. A Thai or Vietnamese patient can't read a Korean clinic's pricing, can't verify what a quote covers, and has no native channel to ask follow-up questions. RichDoc 해외환자유치 is a medical-tourism marketplace built to collapse that gap, treating cross-border patient acquisition as an engineering problem rather than a translation afterthought.
The approach pairs full locale routing across the languages most relevant to inbound Korean medical tourism with an AI smart-quote flow: a patient uploads a photo, Claude vision analyzes it, and the system returns a treatment recommendation and estimate. Pricing sits on a transparent board, and conversation happens through a location-aware messenger hub that routes to whichever app a patient actually uses — KakaoTalk, Line, WeChat, or Zalo.
What makes it engineering-notable is the 3-tier hybrid translation pipeline: machine translation is only the first stage, followed by a medical-terminology validation pass and a UX review queue — because in a regulated clinical vertical, a mistranslated procedure name is a liability, not a typo. The marketplace is structured around distinct roles and is still maturing across two iterative builds.
